65: Allah removes sins due to illness.

To have Faith that if a man becomes ill, Allah rewards him for his illness. [1]

[1] ‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ood reports: I visited the Prophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) during his illness and he was suffering from high fever. I said, “You have a high fever. Is it because you will have a double reward for it?” He (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) replied, “Yes, no Muslims is afflicted by harm except that Allah removes his sins, just as the leaves fall off a tree.” Reported by al-Bukhaaree (Eng. trans. 7/373/no.550) and Muslim (Eng. trans. 4/1364/no.6235).
